Google has officially announced its latest foldable phone, the Pixel 10 Pro Fold, bringing major upgrades that position it as a strong competitor to the recently released Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7.
One of the standout features of the Pixel 10 Pro Fold is its IP68 water and dust resistance rating, making it the first foldable phone from Google to offer complete protection against dust and the ability to withstand water immersion beyond 1 meter for up to 30 minutes. In comparison, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 only carries an IP48 rating, giving Google’s foldable a clear advantage.
The previous generation, Pixel 9 Pro Fold, came with an IPX8 rating—focused on water resistance but lacking full dust protection—making this year’s model a significant leap forward.
